Proposed New Rutland Hall

Environmental & Access Friendly Building

We intend to incorporate rainwater recycling to flush toilets and water the gardens and bowling green. We aim to produce a zero carbon building and are currently investigating the Depart of Trade & Industry low carbon buildings programme to help us to achieve that.

Solar panels will be installed on the roof to contribute to the heating and hot water supply. Low energy lighting and air conditioning will also be incorporated. The building will have a passenger lift and be fully DDA compliant to the requirements of the Disability Rights Commission and access for all.
