Home   History   Contact Us   How To Find Us		Groups West Bridgford Royal British Legion Women's Section The ladies section meet at 2pm on the first Thursday of each month in the lounge. A yearly programme includes presentations from guest speakers on various subjects, quiz afternoons, social gatherings, Christmas party. Meetings can include bingo, and special luncheons out. The West End on Central Avenue is a favourite venue for February. Funds are raised for the annual purse presentation, this usually involves a good half day outing with moneys raised presented to headquarters in London for the benefit of the widows and children's funds. Every effort is made to secure a summer outing. Welfare visits are arranged through our club, the meetings are well enjoyed by our ladies.
