209 Squadron Air Training Corp

With almost 49,000 members, aged from 13 to 22 years, within over 1,000 Squadrons, the ATC is one of the country's premier youth organisations and the world's largest youth air training organization. A volunteer Staff of nearly 10,000 plus 5,000 Civilian Committee Members supports the Cadets.

The 209 Squadron of the Air Training Corps is based in West Bridgford, Nottingham. We currently have 20-25 air cadets, aged 13 to 20 who are enjoying flying, gliding, going on camps, and taking part in all kinds of action, adventure and sports. It's great fun, with the opportunity to enjoy an enviable social life and make many new friends. All without any obligation, although an interest in aviation helps. We are part of the East Midlands Wing of the Air Cadet Organisation (ACO).
